Comparison of modern solvers stiff systems of ordinary differential equations solvers C library SADEL
Engineering Education # 08, August 2012 DOI: 10.7463/0812.0445558 In this paper the authors present a comparison of various modern solvers of stiff systems of ordinary differentsial equations with C-solvers from SADEL library developed by the authors. A set of test caseswas prepared by the authors; is consists of 6 stiff ODE systems with known analytical or asymptotic solutions. The test results are given in the article. The authors also present the basic theoretical information about the methods used in the testing of the numerical integration of systems of ordinary differential equations and considered various options of problem statement.
CAS systems √ computer aided systems for surgery
Engineering Education # 03, March 2011 In the middle of the 70th of the last century, modern medicine have been important developments - through the introduction into medical practice modalities of diagnostic imaging and information technology have introduced new technologies in diagnostics, imaging, therapy, surgery and rehabilitation phases of treatment. The main directions of implementation of information technology in medical practice associated with the processing of large volumes of diverse medical information and management of medical institutions. However, the most serious problems have arisen in the implementation of information technology in the practice of preparing and planning of surgical treatment. This is due to the fact that the requirements of increasing opportunities for surgical treatment and its effectiveness has led to a sharp increase and complexity of technical equipment of surgeons, including sophisticated robotic and computer systems.
Features of problems of designing of surgical operations in maxillofacial surgery
Engineering Education # 03, March 2010 Here there is a review of publications dedicated to classification of surgeries in maxillofacial area. There were described different design tasks which surgeons complete during preparation for surgery, as well as CAS systems which surgeons use for diagnostics, designing of patient’s face and surgical tools and equipment.
