Vibration isolation control in precision equipment

The article presents assessment of damping properties of magnetorheological (MR) elastomers under their exposure to a magnetic field. The authors study the efficiency of vibration energy absorption by MR elastomers with the use of the obtained dependences of mechanical hysteresis. The results of experimental studies of the active damper are based on the MR elastomer.

In this paper we consider the possibility of using active vibration control system based on magnetorheological elastomer dampers for nanotechnological equipment.High-frequency oscillations, in the manufacture of microelectronic components, the frequency of successfully isolated using passive systems of vibration protection. Much more dangerous are the fluctuations with low frequencies, and are addressed by using active vibration control system based on the MR elastomers.
