The paper describes the formalization process of optimization of automated information system’s quality based on fuzzy logic, information system model as an object of optimization in terms of population genetic, genetic algorithm with fuzzy model for optimization, and also methods of conversion of the population with usage of heuristic algorithms.

 The proposed algorithm considers accumulated experience both of automated information system (AIS) designing and evolution modeling principles, in particular, simultaneous consideration of a few versions of AIS construction and their comparison. Ways of further improvement of the AIS structure were determined. The structure should match many criteria of optimality.
