Data on the state and development of acmeology, which is a new scientific and educational branch of the humanities, are presented in this article. This sphere of science is not well-known in Russia and almost unknown abroad. The main aim of this article is to demonstrate a comprehensive and in-depth penetration of acmeology into scientific and practical knowledge. Scientific and social value of acmeology is conditioned by the novelty and originality of its object field. Development prospects of acmeology are associated with its openness to outer needs and with the development of the innovative methodology. Special educational programs for teaching acmeology were developed; they provide training of psychologists in acmeology. Acmeology is also focused on usage of psychological and acmeological data for professionalism upgrading and for activation of personal growth.

This paper tells about development of creativity and intellectual abilities of students studying engineering and economics. The authors consider the development process taking place in the system the components of which are knowledge, educational environment and educational process. With the use of the main provisions of the previously developed theoretical model and methodology of developing students’ creative abilities through studying a foreign language an experimental study involving ascertaining and forming experiments was carried out. The experimental results confirmed the possibility of using the model for successful development of an individual’s creative abilities during studies of a foreign language, as well as the validity of the proposed accounting organizational and pedagogical conditions in the system, contributing to development of creative abilities, which, in turn, ensure successful establishment student’s professional readiness.
Prospective solar power tower with gas turbine energy convertor

This paper presents research results of schematics, design parameters of prototype combined solar power tower with a gas turbine energy convertor of the power level of 4 MW. Computations of the main components of the power plant (solar receivers, solar tracking system, field of heliostats etc.) which determine its appearance and output parameters were conducted. On this basis design drawings were made. The environmental effect of application of such plants is shown. Estimation of the prospects of using solar tower power plants in Russia is presented.

The author defines the main problems of the existing education system and their solutions. The author outlined the contours of a promising "advanced" education system and the main directions of its formation. One of the directions is solving the problems of fundamentality of education. With an adequate form of modern science, fundamental education becomes acquires communicative, interdisciplinary nature which leads to the need for changes in the content of education and teaching activities. It is shown that for development of creative abilities of students an optimal structure of studying a discipline is a structure which is similar to the structure of scientific research. The author reveals a contradictory approach to modular design of educational programs. The author shows peculiarities of specialist training in the field of high-end technologies, the need for an evolutionary transition from the educational and training process to the scientific and educational process. The author gives examples of interaction of fundamental and applied aspects of the educational process, according to the proposed methodology.

The author shows the necessity of forming an innovative engineering education system and notes the tendency to increase prestigiousness of creative engineering work. The author considers the basic ideas of the concept of innovative engineering education as well as states their essence and proposes steps to implement it. The author also considers the main problems of higher education and shows students’ attitude towards education. The relationship between the basic training (in the form of a scientific discipline approach) with a multidisciplinary approach is shown in this article. The author justifies the necessity of appropriate content and organizational decisions.

Geothermal power plants steam turbine with binary cycle for geothermal fields of kamchatka

The object of this study is a geothermal steam turbine plant with binary cycle. Purpose of work – design of steam turbine geothermal binary cycle power plant for future development of geothermal fields which able to make better use of geothermal resources in comparison with the existing steam turbine plant on geothermal energy sources. The state of the existing geothermal power plants is presented an estimate of the thermal characteristics of promising geothermal fields of the Kamchatka region, is given. As a result of this investigation the concrete geothermal field is chosen, and the design of steam turbine plant with capacity of 25 MW is fulfilled.
