Integral estimation of multi-criterion alternatives in mental-structured approach to education

The authors consider the problem of integral estimation of multi-criterion alternatives; they propose a formal statement of the problem and methods of solving it. The method transforms the problem into global conditional multidimensional optimization. To solve that problem Mind Evolutionary Computation algorithm is used. Implementation of this method is described. The results of efficiency research are given.

The paper examines approaches to assessing the economic efficiency of the new mental-structured educational technology, which is based on the idea that the content of education, need to "adapt" to the psychophysical abilities of students in accordance with the laws of the objectively existing functional systems of the brain. From an economic point of view is assessed in basic contradiction between higher professional education exponentially growing amount of new information and strictly regulated terms of learning how to optimize the objective function to evaluate the effectiveness of new technology. It is shown that implicit in the heart of the new educational technology computer-aided opportunity to obtain quantitative indicators of the quality of training can help achieve the strategic objectives of the educational institution.

This article describes the special mentality and a structured approach to the preparation of technical specialists, based on the patterns of memory and thinking. It is shown that foreign word "competence" in some cases it is advisable to replace a wider methodological and meaningful sense the concept of "thought-literacy." To this end, proposes a methodology for assessment of key competencies (thinking of literacy), known as the "House of Quality."

The tools for z/OS & Linux operation systems installation and maintanance: comparison

The article is for comparison analysis between the operation system z/OS and Linux which operate with mainframes. The comparison criteria are flexibility and manageability of the installation and support tools working with the software.. Because of every installation of the operation system rate on a proper applied tasks, the complex of installed applied software is very important as well as the supporting process also. To maintain the installation and the applied software, and operation system components themselves there are a special tools for every operation system. The article would be interested for students studying mainframes and for specialists who work with operation systems.
